About

Alex

Self-taught illustrator, theatre director, producer and educational practitioner. I’m here to celebrate life through meaningful ritual and art - to guide us towards our creative power so we can create the world we wish to live in.

Mission

I am here to guide me and you through our ecological and spiritual explorations. To regenerate ourselves, our relationships and our earthly systems for the benefit of all. To get connected with our creative selves… because in order to do things differently, we have to engage with our imaginations and unique creative energy.

I am here for the voices and the stories that take us towards a different kind of ‘possible’. Stories that have the power to transform lives and move us towards a fairer, equitable, vital and ecstatic planet. Stories that transform the toxic stuff into the blissful stuff. An approach to life and self and others that mirrors the cyclical nature of the moon, the seasons, the womb. Following what we find fun and nourishing our self-trust so that we can stand up in the world with our game-changing ideas.

Path

Early on in life I explored theatre as a way of bringing people together to transcend systemic problems. I got into gamification - interactive experiences where audiences co-created stories. I became increasingly obsessed with the question - ‘what would systemic collapse look and feel like?’

Then my system collapsed. My burnout took me to rock bottom and transformed everything. I knew I had to find a new way of living my life… and I had no idea what that looked like. So - I went on a big adventure.

I traveled to places of wild nature, learning new things, meeting new people and experiencing new culture every day. Connection and rest. Creative sustainability projects in rainforests. This was the start of my self-directed healing journey. When that healing kicked in, I found myself drawing again.

I followed myself to West Wales - a place where nature feels close and people do things differently. I came here seeking ecological solutions and alternatives and I’m finding them in ways I could never have imagined.

Practice

I have cultivated a labyrinth of a creative career, navigating all of the self-doubt and chaos and uncertainty that doing something differently involves. I’m here for others who are on a similar journey. The times ahead need innovation, self-belief and agile, creative spirits.
