Alex's professional work as a theatre director has been performed at the Gate, Old Vic, Arcola, BAC, Soho Theatre, Theatre503, Southwark Playhouse, Pleasance Islington, VAULT Festival and Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
She assisted Michael Attenborough for his final production of King Lear as Artistic Director of Almeida Theatre and has toured Europe & USA with Blind Summit (Assistant Director to Mark Down).
Listed for the JMK Directing Award and winner of the OVNV TS Eliot US/UK Exchange Award.
Alongside Impro & Play workshops in West Wales, Alex is Creative Champion Wales from Cymbrogi Futures (Pembrokeshire) and repeat facilitator with socio-democratic Lighthouse Learning Project (Aberteifi) and Lead Facilitator for Mwldan Young People's Theatre (Aberteifi) until participation activity ceased in lockdown 2020.
Previously: repeat Visiting Lecturer at Royal Central School of Speech & Drama with ‘Gamification and Devised Theatre’ workshops and key Practitioner with Donmar Warehouse Education (London) for 5 years.
